Diana Jackson from Leadgate has developed high quality holiday accommodation with a twist.  High Brooms Granary is not your typical B&B; set in peaceful and idyllic surroundings Diana has designed the rooms to give the maximum flexibility to her guests.  Each one has all the facilities her visitors need to prepare themselves a delicious breakfast in the privacy of their own rooms. 

Speaking about her idea Diana said: “Guests are able to decide when they want breakfast depending on each individual’s itinerary.  It is perfect for cyclists looking for an early start and for families who need a little more time.  We welcome guests for short breaks and are within easy reach of Durham and Newcastle for those wishing to stay longer and explore the North East region”.

Diana’s business idea came after selling her previous security company and looked for a new challenge.  Along with her husband, Darren, they decided to build the new accommodation alongside their home in Leadgate.  With the help of Be Enterprising they were able to create a new website, which is an excellent shop window for their business, together with a range of marketing material.
